INTO THE DEEP
Let me offer you a nutshell version of my life, so far..... I was born in Indiana (United States) where I lived on a sprawling 140-acre farm. When I was eight, my family moved to southwest Florida. I soon fell in love with the Gulf of Mexico and everything near its shores.
Alas, when I was seventeen, my family left this natural
paradise and moved to central Georgia. While often trying to escape
and return to Florida, I've grown to love this state that's brimming
with trees and wildlife.
I have fond memories of the Indiana farm, southwest Florida and
finally Georgia, but my childhood was heavily clouded with
dysfunction. A lack of nurturing left me vulnerable in this treacherous
world. I've had much to re-learn and much to overcome.
At twenty six, I was born again. I will never cease to praise the Lord for reaching out to rescue me.
After becoming a Christian, I attended a church that was steeped in tradition. I spent too many stagnant years with very little growth and periods of backsliding. But I hungered for something better, so God delivered me from this wasteland experience. I now attend a variety of Spirit-filled gatherings. I have a heart for ministering to Christians who are ready to turn their backs on tradition and to begin their search for God. I've been called to encourage others through sharing what God reveals to me.
I still have plenty of room for growth, but God has brought me a long way on my journey. I'm excited about the distance I've covered, in spite of how long it has taken.
I am gifted with prophecy, teaching and exhortation. I have a strong desire to hear from God, speak the truth and thereby encourage you!
