Arise, shine; for your light has come!  And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you - Isaiah 60:1.

In the Light of His Glory

The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory - Isaiah 6:19 ESV. God has been very talkative lately, and I am thrilled with that! I love hearing what's on His mind for me each day, and I love getting answers to my questions. Rising and shining is still on my mind (see Nov. 5 post), and God is telling me more:

Christians "arise and shine" through worship. This is where we connect with God on a very personal level. During worship, we encounter Him in new ways, and we form a bond of love that is strong. This bond is what God deeply desires to have with us. Christians "arise and shine" by faith. No matter what our situation looks like in the natural, it is our faith in God and His Word that keeps our feet on solid spiritual ground. And only on this solid ground are we able to arise and step into our destiny. Needless to say, we'll be sparkling very brightly.

Let's praise God for lifting us up—for making us shine in the light of His glory! How good it is to get answers, straight from the heart of the Lord. How good it is to hear His amazing voice.
