Arise, shine; for your light has come!  And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you - Isaiah 60:1.

Greater Than Ever !

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the Earth. You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side – Psalm 71:20-21 NKJV. Many can agree that God has shown us "great and severe troubles," just as the psalmist writes of. The Lord has excellent reasons for allowing distresses to come our way. They may arrive for correction, sanctification, enlightenment, or a number of other motives. God is always good, so let’s not be complainers. We should praise Him at every turn (James 1:2-4). As we consistently trust and obey the Lord, just like the psalmist, we can look forward to God "increasing our greatness." We are temples of the Holy Spirit, and as such, we are already distinguished and remarkable. Yes, we're surely great, but God wants to turn the dial of our brightness way on up past high. He wants to increase our voltage tremendously. We live in perilous times—but very exciting times. Sensational measures are required! The enemy works hard to mire us in the intensity of our pain and thereby cripple our faith. We must be aware of this evil plan and always resist it. As we reach out to God, He will always revive us and pull us up from “the depths of the Earth.” As an added measure—the cherry on top, so to speak—the breaches in our walls are being repaired (Nehemiah 6:15-16). The love of God is healing every wound from our past. His grace surrounds us with “comfort us on every side.” Our souls are being restored and made ready for God's abundance.

The scripture above is powerful. Please receive it as your own and decree it over your life. Back to MAIN Blog Page
